Kindkit

Privacy & Terms

Last updated: October 14, 2026

The short version

Kindkit processes your files on your own device, inside your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. We don't ask for an account, and we don't collect your name or email.

Your files

When you use a tool (for example Merge PDF or Compress Image), the file is read and processed by JavaScript running in your browser. The result is created on your device and downloaded straight from your browser. Kindkit has no server that receives, stores or reads your files.

Some tools load open-source helper libraries (such as pdf-lib, PDF.js, JSZip and qrcode-generator) from public content delivery networks like cdnjs and jsDelivr. Those requests download code only. Your files are never sent with them.

Text you type

The Word Counter keeps a draft of your text in your browser's local storage so it's still there if you reload the page. It never leaves your device. Clearing the text or your browser data removes it.

Advertising and cookies

Kindkit is free and is supported partly by advertising. We show ads from third-party networks such as Adsterra, and may also use Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

Ad networks never have access to the files you process with Kindkit.

Donations

Donations are handled entirely by PayPal on PayPal's own website. Kindkit never sees your card or bank details. PayPal's privacy policy applies to those payments.

Hosting

Kindkit is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may log basic technical information (such as IP addresses) to keep the service secure. See GitHub's privacy statement.

Terms of use

Kindkit is provided free of charge, “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Please keep a copy of your original files. While we work hard to make every tool reliable, we can't be responsible for lost data or for how the results are used. Only process files that you have the right to use.
